A study of the locations of the

historical records of Atlantis

according to the Cayce readings

Introduction

The Cayce readings are really the primary source of information of the story of Atlantis that was first written about by Plato. While virtually all areas of the readings regarding Atlantis are controversial, one of the most  debated areas involve the readings that describe certain records of the history of Atlantis that were supposedly hidden in secret locations. These records will be located again, say the Cayce readings, when certain geological changes occur on the Earth (these changes are also detailed in the readings).

Preserving the Records

One of the best overall readings to start any analysis of this subject is reading 2012-1 given on September 25, 1939. This person, in a previous life, was supposedly Eli Whitney, the inventor of the cotton gin:

Before this we find the entity was that one who symbolized to the land of the entity's present sojourn the ability to separate the good from the bad cotton, as well as that which stabilized parts for moving mechanical instruments, as well as guns and ammunitions and parts for same.

These were the works of the entity through that experience or sojourn, - as one Whitney.

After highlighting some of his other past lives, the reading then discusses his former life on Atlantis as someone named Oron who was "as the leader of those influences to those that made for the escapes" off of Atlantis:

Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, when there were the constructive forces as to the activities of the children of the Law of One - in all of those influences during the periods when the land was being broken up. We find the entity was as the leading influence for the considering of ways and means in which there would be the preserving of records, as well as ways, means and manners in which either the few or the numbers might be preserved from the destruction of the lands. It would be well if this entity were to seek either of the three phases of the ways and means in which those records of the activities of individuals were preserved - the one in the Atlantean land that sank, which will rise and is rising again; another in the place of the records that leadeth from the Sphinx to the hall of records, in the Egyptian land; and another in the Aryan or Yucatan land, where the temple there is overshadowing same.
 

The words that caught my attention are highlighted:

It would be well if this entity were to seek either of the three phases of the ways and means in which those records of the activities of individuals were preserved....

At first glance, it seems that there were records preserved in these three places:

1) on the Atlantean land that sank

2) Egypt

3) Yucatan

However, if one keeps in mind that the records were, in fact preserved, how could they still be "in the Atlantean land that sank...."? Even if the exact same land area of Atlantis that contained the records were to miraculously rise to the surface, is it reasonable to assume that these records would somehow, not only be found, but that they would still be in a preserved state?

The records that were buried near the Sphinx, at around the same time, have remained there for thousands of years, undisturbed. They are most probably buried under just a few feet of sand, preserved in a pyramid, and have laid there waiting to be discovered for millennia, and yet, no one has found them. Somehow though, these records, which are supposedly still residing on the "Atlantean land that sank" for some 12,000 years, and have been underwater and most probably buried under hundreds of feet of ocean sediment, these records will somehow be found for scholars and researchers to examine.  This scenario strains credulity. If the records that were stored in a pyramid near the Sahara Desert, by the quiet calm of the Sphinx, cannot be found, how then can these records, which somehow, amazingly,  survived the final destruction of Poseidia (with all its erupting volcanoes and hot magma lava flows), and also, incredibly,  survive its subsequent rising 12,000 years later (with I assume, more lava and erupting volcanoes), how can they ever be found and still be in a preserved state?

Does everyone really believe that the best plan Mr. 2012 could devise was a plan to store them in some sort of a time capsule and then apparently leave Atlantis without them?  And then let them disappear into the ocean depths and hope someday that this same exact area of Poseidia would rise, and the records, by some miracle, would then be  found and still be in such a preserved state where they could be analyzed?  If that was part of Mr. 2012's master plan to preserve the records,  I would think he should have been fired for dereliction of duty. If that's what happened, then I would consider the records lost, and not preserved.

While the civilization on Atlantis (as presented by the Cayce readings) seems very advanced, the fact remains that there is no time capsule built today that could preserve records for 12,000 years under the tremendous pressure exerted by thousands of cubic feet of salty seawater. This would seem to be the most hostile, corrosive environment possible for preserving valuable records. If these records were so precious, why would they leave them on Atlantis to possibly perish? Why would you take that chance?

A more plausible scenario for the preservation of records that were on the Atlantean land that sank, is that they were either removed, or copies were made that were then transferred prior to the final sinking and located elsewhere out of harms way. And there are in fact numerous Cayce readings that allude to this scenario:

The entity was among those that were active as to the exchange of associations with those in the Poseidian land, or in the city of Alta. And, as there was the entering of the priest from the land Egypt to Poseidia, that there might be gained more of an understanding of the law of One (or God), that there might be the interpretations and the records of same carried to the Egyptian land, the ENTITY returned - or JOURNEYED, soon after the priest's return from Atlantis, to Egypt.....
 

Hence, the entity aided the priest in activity, but the populace the more. And, as we have given, aided much in the records; not only of the period but as to how the varied activities were to be in the land pertaining to the records of that which was to be, as well as that which had been, and the records in that monument or tomb or pyramid yet to be opened. Records also of those that were transferred from the destruction of the Atlantean land. For, the entity was still in charge of these records when the last of the peoples of Atlantis journeyed to the various quarters of the globe;

The entity saw what was preserved as the memorials, the pyramids built during the entity's sojourn; when there was begun the pyramid of understanding, or Gizeh - and only to the king's chamber was the pathway built. But the entity will see in the present the empty tomb period pass; hence rise to heights of activity in the present experience.

The entity's harps - and the entity's MENUS, as they would be termed in the present - are among those things preserved in the pyramid of UNKNOWN origin, as yet, but in the storehouse of records.

And, the entity was aided by the Atlantean (now the father) who brought the portions of the records into this land of the Atlantean buildings and sojourns.

And in the temple records that were in Egypt, where the entity later acted in cooperation with others in preserving the records that came from the land where these had been kept.

Before that we find there was only a short experience in the astrological sojourn, for the entity was in the Atlantean land when there were the breakings up of those peoples owing to the destructive forces. The entity was among those of the Law of One who made their departure not only for the preservation of the material things but for the preserving of the records that might eventually become a portion of man's experience in the earth (when there is the seeking into those realms within the inner self for a knowledge of the close relationships with the Creative Forces). For the entity then was a priestess in the temple in the lands of the Atlanteans. Amimellee was the name under which the entity acted in those periods. But with the changes for the various groups, the entity entered those lands of the Egyptians.

Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Egyptian, being among those of the Atlanteans who came into Egypt; coming as the children of the law of One to make a preparation for the preservation of the tenets and truths that had been handed down by the teachers that in due season came within the golden and the bright lights that made for the interpretations of those things dealing with the relationships of man to the Creative Forces, and how in the applying of their dealings with their fellow creatures might be found that within the experience of the soul as to its OWN relationships to its Creator!

Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Posedion or Atlantean land, when there were the disturbances between the children of the Law of One and the sons and daughters of Belial.

The entity then was among those who sought the preservation of the records of the peoples of the Law of One, and induced those divisions that were sent out as emissaries to establish in the various stages or spheres of human endeavor those places for the preservation of such; the ENTITY to the Pyrenees land, - and did not reach the Egyptian, nor hear from the other expeditions which the entity had caused to be established. Then the entity was a leader, in the name Am-ee-lce

Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those activities there from the Atlantean land. For the entity was an Atlantean who came into the Egyptian land with the leaders, the teachers, those who were to preserve the records of the activities of the Law of One. (1947-1) July 4, 1939

Before that (among those that have the greater influence in the present experience of the entity) we find the entity was in the land now called the Atlantean, and especially of the Poseidian peoples who were active when there were the preparations through the breaking up of the land, - and the preserving of records, the activities for the use of those things that had been a part of the activity throughout the Atlantean experience. There we find the entity was with those groups who entered first into the Pyrenees, and then the Egyptian land.

Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, when the Atlanteans came into that land for the preserving of the experiences.

(1999-1) September 13, 1939

Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, in those periods when turmoils and strifes arose, when there was the entering of those from the Atlantean land. The entity was among the Atlanteans who came with the peoples of Ajax, Irad and others, for the establishing of the lands for the preserving of the records of the Atlantean development, the Atlantean promises.

Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, but of those peoples from Atlantis. The entity came with those who were attempting to preserve and establish the records as to the happenings in the Atlantean land just before its destruction.

(2386-1) October 24, 1940

Before that the entity was in the Atlantean and Egyptian land. The entity was among the children of the Law of One who came into the Egyptian experience for preserving the records of those activities, and entered into the bringing of harmony when the Priest in Egypt had been restored to power.

Because the entity was of the Atlanteans who did not favor the activities of the leader of the Atlanteans in the rebellion, it brought questionings of his peoples. But with the reestablishing of the Priest, and those in order for the regeneration of the peoples for the new race - which was a part of the experience of the entity in Poseidia, the entity became the supervisor of the excavations, - in studying the old records and in preparing and in building the house of records for the Atlanteans, as well as a part of the house initiate - or the Great Pyramid.

These colors, that presented or represented the various periods, as well as the interpretations of On, Ra-Ta and Hermes, and the wise men of the period, were placed by the orders of the entity then - as Ajax-ol.

The entity was among those of the Atlanteans who came into Egypt, and whose land was destroyed during that period. Hence the entity was among the children of the Law of One that entered the Egyptian land; being a priestess in Poseidia, and brought much of the record that was attempted to be preserved for future activity, future proofs to those who would seek out these influences that were the happenings in the Atlantean land.

Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, among the Atlanteans who came in with those peoples in authority. For, there the entity was one who PERSONALLY cared for the records that were brought by the leaders of that people for preservation in that portion of man's experience in the earth.

(2523-1) July 1, 1941

Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, then there were those periods necessitating the exodus because of the destructive forces being used by the children of Belial.

The entity was a priestess in the Law of One, and among those who - ill - came into the Egyptian land, - as the elders in those groups for preserving the records, as well as for preserving a portion of that race, that peoples.

(2537-1) July 17, 1941

Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, when there were those interpretings of the leaders in that land, and the understanding of how that the sons of Belial were making application of the spiritual laws to that of self-aggrandizement.

The entity entertained those activities, but was of that group of the sons of the Law of One. While there were those disputations, and those that would carry the records and the laws to the land of Egypt for their preservation, at first the entity held out against this; later came into the Egyptian land, making that first attempt to defy those peoples of the land because of the period of turmoils those peoples had entered.

Entity was in Atlantis during those periods when there were the separations, just before the breaking up of Poseidia. The entity then controlled those activities where communications had been established with other lands, and the flying boats that moved through air or water were the means by which the entity carried many of those to the Iberian land, as well as later those groups in the Egyptian land - when there had been the determining that the records should be kept there.

So this is a list of 17 different readings that support the scenario that records were transferred from Atlantis to Egypt to be preserved. Now, to be fair, we should list all the readings that support the contention implied in reading 2012-1 that there were indeed records somehow preserved  but yet inexplicably left behind on the "Atlantean land that sank". Let's see what we can learn from those readings. Then we can make a fair judgment about which scenario best fits the facts . Many questions can be answered from examining those readings, for example: who was involved on Atlantis besides Mr. 2012? How did they preserve the records for future discovery? Were did they leave them? in a sealed room? A pyramid? A time capsule? That way when that land rises once again, as predicted, we have an idea as to what to look for. The problem with this list of readings is that there are only two, one of which is reading 2012-1 itself quoted above.  The only other reading that seems to state that records were preserved and yet at the same time somehow irresponsibly left on Atlantis to sink to the bottom of the ocean is reading 5750-1 which I will examine in the next section.

So, if my theory is correct, what do we make of this statement in reading 2012-1:  the one in the Atlantean land that sank?  If the records were removed and are no longer on sunken Atlantis, then where are they now? And what is the reading referring to when it speaks of that which will rise and is rising again if it is not referring to the Atlantean land that sank?

Two Record Chambers in Egypt?

First, let us examine the next line of reading 2012-1, which lists the second location of the preserved records:

another in the place of the records that leadeth from the Sphinx to the hall of records, in the Egyptian land;

This is an extraordinary line once you comprehend what Cayce's source is telling us, and that is, that there is another area besides the Hall of Records that apparently is also a repository for records. This must be so, because the place the records are stored leads from the Sphinx to the Hall of Records itself. In other words, it looks like it is between the two structures. This interpretation I believe, is supported by two other readings:

Hence we find the entity then, Ax-Ten-tna, as would be said in the present, was the first to set the records that are yet to be discovered, or yet to be had of those activities in the Atlantean land, and for the preservation of the data, that as yet to be found from the chambers of the way between the sphinx and the pyramid of records.

Yet, as time draws nigh, when changes are to come about, there may be the opening of those three places where the records are one. To those that are the initiates in the knowledge of the One God:

[1] The temple by Iltar  will then rise again.

[2] Also, there will be the opening of the temple or hall of records  in Egypt, and

[3] those records that were put in the heart of the Atlantean land may also be found there - that have been kept, for those that are of that group.

The RECORDS are ONE.

Reading 5750-1 is the other reading that seems at first glance to support the interpretation that records were left on sunken Atlantis. If you read the last line (following bracket #3) out of context, it may appear that the reading is saying that "those records that were put in the heart of the Atlantean land" are in fact still there and may somehow be found at that location.  However, for all the reasons listed in the previous section, I find this scenario unlikely. Another way to interpret this passage, is that there will be the opening of the records that are stored in the Hall of Records that is located in Egypt, and those records that were  located (or put) in the heart of the Atlantean land may also be found in Egypt because they have been kept for those that are of that group (the Atlanteans). One of the reasons I feel this interpretation is correct, is because I personally don't consider something that is lying at the bottom of the ocean to "have been kept". If the records were still on sunken Atlantis they would have been left on Atlantis and not been kept. Similar terminology was used in reading 378-16 describing records being transferred from Atlantis "by the priests" to be kept in the record chambers that were sealed in Egypt:

In the record chambers there were more ceremonies than in [the ones] calling the peoples at the finishing of that called the [Great] pyramid. For, here [the ceremonies involving the record chambers] those that were trained in the Temple of Sacrifice as well as in the Temple Beautiful were about the sealing of the record chambers. For, these were to be kept as had been given by the priests in Atlantis or Poseidia (Temple), when these records of the race, of the developments, of the laws pertaining to One were put in their chambers and to be opened only when there was the returning of those into materiality, or to earth's experience, when the change was imminent in the earth;

(378-16) 29th day of October, 1933 [brackets added by author]

Here we have specific information that details that records were given by Atlantean priests to be kept when the records of the "race....of the laws pertaining to One were put in their chambers...." This is similar to the phrase used in 5750-1 that records that were put in Atlantis, have been kept and may also be found there, near the Hall of Records in Egypt.

My interpretation of the phrase, "may also be found there" is further evidence that this does not refer  to the "heart of the Atlantean land" but instead to Egypt. Because if the phrase "may also be found there" refers to the Atlantean land, why use the word "also"? The word "also", I believe, refers back to the second  location already listed which was Egypt.  This third set of identical records from Atlantis, was then kept in Egypt "also". This set of records was kept for the Atlanteans (for those that are of that group) and came from the "heart of the Atlantean land". Cayce's source wouldn't even need to have spoken that last phrase, "may also be found there - that have been kept for those that are of that group" if the records were still located at the bottom of the ocean on sunken Atlantis, would he? He would have just listed the third location of identical records as being the "records that were put in the heart of the Atlantean land". Done. Finished. Why elaborate? Unless you were trying to distinguish that two separate but identical records from two different sources, were in fact both located in the same place: Egypt.

Further support for my contention that the records were removed from Atlantis prior to its destruction and preserved in Egypt is from reading 440-5:

And in the temple records that were in Egypt, where the entity later acted in cooperation with others in preserving the records that came from the land where these had been kept.

Now, one could argue that if my interpretation is in fact correct, i.e. that this reading is saying that the three sets of records are located in only two places: Egypt and Yucatan, where is the third place?  Reading 5750-1 specifies three places, not two:

Yet, as time draws nigh, when changes are to come about, there may be the opening of those three places where the records are one.

Again, the only answer that is possible, (if my assertions are correct),  is that there is another area besides the hall of records that contains identical records. This is why I believe this reading supports my contention of two separate areas at Giza containing identical records. There is a chamber that is apparently located between the Sphinx and the hall of records.  If you read the following excerpt with the knowledge that there were two sets of  identical records preserved, one of which came from Atlantis, and they were both stored in Egypt, it makes perfect sense:

Also, there will be the opening of the temple or hall of records in Egypt, and  those records that were put in the heart of the Atlantean land may also be found there [in Egypt] -  that have been kept, for those that are of that group. The RECORDS are ONE. [brackets and emphasis added by author]

So where is this second area in Egypt? Well the location was disclosed, but not in reading 5750-1. The first reading examined, 2012-1 and also readings 1486-1 and 5748-6 say specifically that records were preserved in an area leading to the hall of records, but not in the hall of records:

....another in the place of the records that leadeth from the Sphinx to the hall of records, in the Egyptian land;....

Hence we find the entity then, Ax-Ten-tna, as would be said in the present, was the first to set the records that are yet to be discovered, or yet to be had of those activities in the Atlantean land, and for the preservation of the data, that as yet to be found from the chambers of the way between the sphinx and the pyramid of records.

....With the storehouse, or record house (where the records are still to be uncovered), there is a chamber or passage from the right forepaw to this entrance of the record chamber or record tomb....

(5748-6) July 1, 1932

This now brings up an interesting dilemma for all proponents of a deep-water Atlantic Ocean Atlantean records location. If you interpret reading 2012-1 literally, (as everyone does except me) and claim that reading 2012-1 is proof that the Atlantic Ocean holds preserved records of Atlantis (the one in the Atlantean land that sank), how do you then explain the phrases quoted above compared to the locations that were given in 5750-1? 

In other words, 5750-1 lists specifically that the Hall of Records is the repository for the records in Egypt, correct? Yet, when we examine 2012-1, amazingly, the Hall of Records is omitted entirely as a repository. Another location is given that is NOT the Hall of Records. In fact, the location of this record repository is given in relation to the Hall of Records.
 

...the one in the [1] Atlantean land that sank, which will rise and is rising again; another in the [2] place of the records that leadeth from the Sphinx to the hall of records, in the Egyptian land; and another in the Aryan or [3] Yucatan land, where the temple there is overshadowing same.

So why isn't the Hall of Records listed here in 2012-1? Cayce's source is fully aware of the existence of the Hall of Records, yet he incomprehensibly omits it as a record's location in this reading. Why? Isn't that odd? How can there be no mention of the Hall of Records as a repository? What records are located in this Hall of Records?

We find the answer again in reading 378-16:

The entity Hept-supht LED in the keeping of the records and the buildings that were put in their respective actions or places of activity at this time.

This was in the period, as given, of 10,500 years before the entering of the Prince of Peace in the land to study to become an initiate in or through those same activities that were set by Hept-supht in this dedicating ceremony.

Ready for questions.

Q. If the King's Chamber is on the 50th course, on what course is this sealed room?

A. The sealed room of records is in a different place; not in this pyramid.

Q. Give in detail what the sealed room contains.

A. A record of Atlantis from the beginnings of those periods when the Spirit took form or began the encasements in that land, and the developments of the peoples throughout their sojourn, with the record of the first destruction and the changes that took place in the land, with the record of the SOJOURNINGS of the peoples to the varied activities in other lands, and a record of the meetings of all the nations or lands for the activities in the destructions that became necessary with the final destruction of Atlantis and the building of the pyramid of initiation, with who, what, where, would come the opening of the records that are as copies from the sunken Atlantis; for with the change it must rise (the temple) again. This in position lies, as the sun rises from the waters, the line of the shadow (or light) falls between the paws of the Sphinx, that was later set as the sentinel or guard, and which may not be entered from the connecting chambers from the Sphinx's paw (right paw) until the TIME has been fulfilled when the changes must be active in this sphere of man's experience.

Between, then, the Sphinx and the river.

Do you notice a similarity in the description of the records contained in the Hall of Records in 378-16 and the way the records are described in 2012-1?

the one in the Atlantean land that sank, which will rise and is rising again; (2012-1)

the records that are as copies from the sunken Atlantis; for with the change it must rise (the temple) again.

I believe the above quote contained in reading 2012-1 is a reference to the way 378-16 describes the records contained in the Hall of Records:

If my interpretation is false, then reading 2012-1 would be omitting the Hall of Records as a location of the records that were preserved. It is impossible that the Hall of Records is NOT a record repository. It must be included in every list of the locations of the history of Atlantis. Therefore I believe the phrase contained in 2012-1 (the one in the Atlantean land that sank, which will rise and is rising again) is a reference to the records stored in the Hall of Records. This is supported by the description of the records contained in the Hall of Records in reading 378-16. In other words what will rise is not the old location of the records on the Atlantean land that sank, but the records current location in the Hall of Records. What will rise again is the Hall of Records itself:

......for with the change it must rise (the temple) again.

This does not preclude land rising once again from the Atlantic Ocean as a result of various earth changes that may occur in the future. I just do not believe there will  be any preserved records found on these areas. Those records were preserved by removing them prior to the final sinking of Atlantis.  One set was preserved in the Hall of Records (which will rise again) and another in the "place of records" or also called the "house of records" between the Sphinx and the Hall of Records.  A third set was taken to Yucatan.

Some may argue that the place of the records that leadeth from the Sphinx to the hall of records is really the same place as the hall of records but I don't see how that is possible.  The "place of the records" leads from the Sphinx TO the hall of records. It seems to be located somewhere in that passageway that connects them. It is not IN the hall of records itself otherwise the reading would have said IN the hall of records, much like 5750-1 does.

Some may cite reading 2329-3 as proof that this "place of records" is really just a part of the hall of records and therefore must be the same structure because one can equate the term "place of records" with something called the "Tomb of Records". But are these two structures really the same?

(Q) Where are those records or tablets made of that Egyptian experience, which I might study?

 
(A) In the Tomb of Records, as indicated. For the entity's tomb then was a part of the Hall of Records, which has not yet been uncovered. It lies between - or along that entrance from the Sphinx to the temple - or the pyramid; in a pyramid, of course, of its own.

(2329-3) May 1, 1941

Now this appears to indicate that the Tomb of Records lies between....but then, at that precise moment Cayce's source seems to hesitate and corrects himself by saying "or along that entrance". Along what entrance? It is at the entrance of the pyramid of records.  This interpretation is supported by another reading:

When there was the entrance of Arart and Araaraart, they begin to build upon those mounds which were discovered through research. With the storehouse, or record house (where the records are still to be uncovered), there is a chamber or passage from the right forepaw to this entrance of the record chamber, or record tomb. This may not be entered without an understanding, for those that were left as guards may NOT be passed until after a period of their regeneration in the Mount, or the fifth root race begins.

So the record tomb or Tomb of Records lies at the entrance to the record chamber or Hall of Records (see 2329-3).  This reading seems to imply you have to pass through the record tomb (in a pyramid, of course, of its own) to enter the Hall of Records. This pyramid or Tomb of Records would seem to serve as an entrance to the Hall of Records proper and is considered a part of the Hall of Records. This does not sound like the same place alluded to in reading 1486-1:

....and for the preservation of the data, that as yet to be found from the chambers of the way between the sphinx and the pyramid of records. 

This reading seems to imply there is a chamber on "the way" to the pyramid of records; that is, somewhere between the Sphinx and before this pyramid.  It seems to correlate well with the mention in 5748-6 of a "storehouse or record house".

....With the storehouse, or record house (where the records are still to be uncovered), there is a chamber or passage from the right forepaw to this entrance of the record chamber or record tomb....

In other words the beginning of the passageway from the right paw of the Sphinx is "With the storehouse, or record house". This passageway eventually leads to the entrance of the Hall of Records or Tomb of Records.

This "storehouse or record house" is apparently under the paws of the Sphinx and at the beginning of the passageway that leads to the pyramid of records  or Hall of Records and is therefore "between" the two. It is most likely the same thing as the "place of records" referred to in reading 2012-1. It was apparently prepared and built "for the Atlanteans":

.....the entity became the supervisor of the excavations, - in studying the old records and in preparing and in building the house of records for the Atlanteans,.....

So it appears again that there were two chambers buried in Egypt that contain records: the record house or "place of records" (built especially for the  Atlanteans) that lies between the Sphinx and the pyramid of records and the pyramid of records itself that housed the Egyptian version of the same records. The RECORDS are ONE.

... the entity joined with those who were active in putting the records in forms that were partially of the old characters of the ancient or early Egyptian, and part in the newer form of the Atlanteans. These may be found, especially when [either] the house or tomb of records is opened, in a few years from now.

Construction Plans of the Firestone

In a reading (440-5 12/20/33) detailing the mighty crystal or firestone, that was apparently used extensively on Atlantis, locations were given of where the plans were located on how to construct this device:

As indicated, the records of the manners of construction of same are in three places in the earth, as it stands today: In the sunken portions of Atlantis, or Poseidia, where a portion of the temples may yet be discovered, under the slime of ages of seawater - [1] near what is known as Bimini,  off the coast of Florida. And in the temple records that were [2] in Egypt, where the entity later acted in cooperation with others in preserving the records that came from the land where these had been kept. Also the records that were carried to what is now [3] Yucatan in America, where these stones (that they know so little about) are now - during the last few months - BEING uncovered.

There has been much confusion and debate over this reading. Much of it is caused by not recognizing what this reading actually says as opposed to what similar readings appear to be saying.

To review, reading 2012-1 tells us what records were preserved:

It would be well if this entity were to seek either of the three phases of the ways and means in which those records of the activities of individuals were preserved....

And then lists what records were preserved: the one on Atlantis that sank, the one between the Sphinx and the Hall of Records and the one taken to Yucatan.

Reading 5750-1 lists the three places where the records are ONE and could be interpreted as a confirmation of reading 2012-1:

....there may be the opening of those three places where the records are one, to those that are the initiates in the knowledge of the One God: The [1] temple by Iltar will then rise again. Also, there will be the opening of the temple or [2] hall of records in Egypt, and those records that were put in the heart of the Atlantean land [3]may also be found there - that have been kept, for those that are of that group. The RECORDS are ONE.

I believe the key difference between the two above mentioned readings and the information detailed in the firestone construction plan reading (440-5) is that the term "places" is used in a slightly different fashion. If you recall 440-5 begins with this line:

As indicated, the records of the manners of construction of same are in three places in the earth, as it stands today:

This wording seems to imply that there will be more of an emphasis on the geographic location of the records.

In the records that were preserved (2012-1) and the records are ONE (5750-1) readings, and in reading 1486-1, we are given, throughout these readings, very specific locations for these records. In other words, not just what geographic area in the earth but specific locations within a structure:

1) The Hall of Records in Egypt

2) The "place of the records" or the "record house" between the Sphinx and the Hall of Records in Egypt

3) Iltar's temple in Yucatan

So in summary, what we have here is three sets of identical records located in three separate chambers or temples but they are only located in two different geographic areas: Egypt and Yucatan.

Now in the firestone construction plans reading (440-5), we get more of this emphasis on the record's geographic location (in the earth) and thus, what I feel is a less specific use of the term "places". Not only that, now we are indicating the locations of perhaps slightly different records that were not all preserved, and are not all necessarily ONE. So what I believe causes the confusion, is that the two sets of preserved records, that are identical, and both contain firestone construction plans and are both located in Egypt, are lumped together as one geographic location, in this reading only. Yucatan has identical records as Egypt (The RECORDS are ONE) and is therefore the second location of the firestone construction plans.  The third location is a temple of the Poseidians located near Bimini, buried under the slime of ages of seawater.....off the coast of Florida. This temple has the firestone construction plans, but these were obviously not preserved here near Bimini (a portion of the temples may yet be discovered under the slime NOT the records). In fact, it is quite possible that this is the location of the Posidiean temple that was the source of the Atlantean records that were preserved and sealed in chambers located in Egypt as noted in reading 378-16:

In the record chambers there were more ceremonies than in calling the peoples at the finishing of that called the pyramid. For, here those that were trained in the Temple of Sacrifice as well as in the Temple Beautiful were about the sealing of the record chambers. For, these were to be kept as had been given by the priests in Atlantis or Poseidia (Temple), when these records of the race, of the developments, of the laws pertaining to one were put in their chambers and to be opened only when there was the returning of those into materiality, or to earth's experience, when the change was imminent in the earth; which change, we see, begins in '58 and ends with the changes wrought in the upheavals and the shifting of the poles, as begins then the reign in '98 (as time is counted in the present) of those influences that have been given by many in the records that have been kept by those sojourners in this land of the Semitic peoples.........

(Q). Give in detail what the sealed room contains.

(A). A record of Atlantis from the beginnings of those periods when the Spirit took form or began the encasements in that land, and the developments of the peoples throughout their sojourn, with the record of the first destruction and the changes that took place in the land, with the record of the SOJOURNINGS of the peoples to the varied activities in other lands, and a record of the meetings of all the nations or lands for the activities in the destructions that became necessary with the final destruction of Atlantis and the building of the pyramid of initiation, with who, what, where, would come the opening of the records that are as copies from the sunken Atlantis; for with the change it must rise (the temple) again. This in position lies, as the sun rises from the waters, the line of the shadow (or light) falls between the paws of the Sphinx, that was later set as the sentinel or guard, and which may not be entered from the connecting chambers from the Sphinx's paw (right paw) until the TIME has been fulfilled when the changes must be active in this sphere of man's experience.

Between, then, the Sphinx and the river.

Did the Bimini area contain a Poseidian temple? Yes:

GC: You will have before you the islands of North and South Bimini, and the submerged land adjacent to same.

EC: Yes, we have the islands as are seen in the natural formations as are visible at the present time.

(Q) Is this the continent known as Alta or Poseidia?
(A) A temple of the Poseidians was in a portion of this land.

(996-12) 2nd day of March, 1927

Since Bimini has a "temple of the Poseidians" nearby, and all the locations of the firestone plans were already previously "indicated" as 440-5 states (reading 5750-1 was given the previous month), it logically follows that the record copies from the Poseidia (temple) mentioned in 378-16, that were sealed and preserved in Egypt, may have originated from this temple near Bimini.

An important point to remember is that reading 440-5 (given on 12/20/33) is the only Cayce reading that mentions Bimini specifically as a repository of any records.  The term "As indicated", at the beginning of the 440-5 excerpt, seems to be referencing a previous reading that also gave the  locations of the firestone construction plans but there is in fact, no such reading. One is forced to conclude that the words "as indicated" is therefore referencing another similar reading and the only recent reading of this nature is 5750-1 given the previous month (11/12/33). As a point of reference, the excerpt from reading 364-9 on April 28, 1932 that caused the question to be asked in 5750-1 is given below:

(Q) Was Atlantis one of the five points at which man appeared in the beginning, being the home of the red race?

 
(A) One of the five points. As has been given, in what is known as Gobi, India, in Carpathia, or in that known as the Andes, and that known as in the western plain of what is now called America - the five places. In their presentation, as we find, these - in the five places, as MAN (Let's get the difference in that as first appeared in what is known as Atlantis, and that as MAN appearing from those projections in the five places.....

(Q) The center or beginning of these projections was in Atlantis?

 
(A) Was in Atlantis. Hence we have, as from the second incarnation there - or the story as is given in Judaism doesn't vary a great deal from that of the Chaldean; neither does it vary at all from that that WILL be discovered in Yucatan; nor does it vary a great deal from that as from the OLDER ones of the Indian (East Indian, of course - as it is from the present)

(364-9) April 28, 1932

(Q) In which pyramid or temple are the records mentioned in the readings given through this channel on Atlantis, in April, 1932?

(A) As given, that temple was destroyed at the time there was the last destruction in Atlantis.

Yet, as time draws nigh when changes are to come about, there may be the opening of those three places where the records are one, to those that are the initiates in the knowledge of the One God:

[1] The temple by Iltar  will then rise again.

[2] Also, there will be the opening of the temple or hall of records  in Egypt, and

[3] those records that were put in the heart of the Atlantean land may also be found there - that have been kept, for those that are of that group.

The RECORDS are ONE.

Reading 440-5  matches up with this reading precisely except for one small detail: a complete copy of all the records located at a Poseidian temple near Bimini, prior to its sinking, may have been made and then transferred to Egypt to be preserved for those that are of that group. A portion of this original record, containing the construction plans of the firestone, may still exist in the sunken Poseidian temple near Bimini that may one day be discovered, but the records near Bimini were not preserved (obviously) and are not complete or "ONE" with the other records that were preserved. Again, this Poseidian temple, located near Bimini, may be the same temple mentioned in 378-16, that was the source of the copies of the Atlantean records that were given by the Atlantean priests to be preserved in Egypt. This temple, off the coast of Florida, is counted by Cayce's source as the third geographic location of the "firestone construction plan" records only in reading 440-5. Although 440-5 states that the construction plans are located near Bimini, only a portion of the temples may yet be discovered.

This less specific usage of the term places, along with combining the locations of slightly different  records that are not all ONE or identical, is what I believe, is causing all the confusion with this reading. Perhaps because the area around Bimini contained a "temple of the Poseidians" as it is referred to in reading 996-12, is the reason Cayce's source may have mistakenly referred to Bimini as a sunken portion of Poseidia:

.....in the sunken portions of Atlantis, or Poseidia, where a portion of the temples may yet be discovered, under the slime of ages of seawater - near what is known as Bimini,  off the coast of Florida.

(Q) Is this [the Bimini area] the continent known as Alta or Poseidia?
(A) A temple of the Poseidians was in a portion of this land.

As mentioned previously, this "temple of the Poseidians" located somewhere near Bimini may in fact be the original location of the records that were copied and then transferred to Egypt to be preserved. As noted in reading 378-16:

In the record chambers [note plural] there were more ceremonies than in calling the peoples at the finishing of that called the [Great] pyramid. For, here those that were trained in the Temple of Sacrifice as well as in the Temple Beautiful were about the sealing of the record chambers. For, these were to be kept as had been given by the priests in Atlantis or Poseidia (Temple), when these records of the race, of the developments, of the laws pertaining to One were put in their chambers......

.......with who, what, where, would come the opening of the records that are as copies from the sunken Atlantis;

Notice how Cayce's source refers to the priests in the above excerpt? The priests were not from Poseidia itself necessarily, but could have been from a Poseidian temple located somewhere else in what little remained of Atlantis outside that unstable and possibly already sinking island of Poseidia. Perhaps they were from a Poseidian temple located "near what is known as Bimini,  off the coast of Florida"? Should reading 440-5 have had the word (temple) after the word Poseidia as reading 378-16 does? This would have eliminated much confusion and debate regarding the Bimini=Poseidia arguments:

As indicated, the records of the manners of construction of same are in three places in the earth, as it stands today: In the sunken portions of Atlantis, or Poseidia (temple), where a portion of the temples may yet be discovered, under the slime of ages of seawater - near what is known as Bimini,  off the coast of Florida.....

Summary

Despite what Cayce readings 2012-1 and 5750-1 seem to imply, it seems incomprehensible to me that there exists a repository of records containing the history of Atlantis buried underneath the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean that still remains in a "preserved" state. It is simply not possible for any kind of records to have been "preserved" in that kind of an environment for thousands of years. It is inconceivable that this was the plan undertook by those in charge of preserving those records. More likely, the records were removed from their original locations on Atlantis or copies were made and transferred to either Egypt or Yucatan to be preserved for future generations. Common sense, along with a closer examination of the Cayce readings may support this point of view.

In summary, if my interpretation of the Cayce readings are correct, the three specific places the records of the history of Atlantis were preserved at were:

1. Hall of Records at Giza, Egypt (AKA as the Pyramid of Records or Tomb of Records)

2. House of Records located in a passageway or chamber somewhere between the Sphinx and the Hall of Records and was specifically used to store the Atlantean version of the same records.

3. Iltar's temple in Yucatan which was destroyed at the final sinking of Poseidia but will rise again when the future earth changes come about.

The RECORDS are ONE
